I would honestly love anything for any of these fandoms, and I'm very excited to see what you come up with, so please know that the prompts below are just ideas, not meant to be binding or exclusive in any way. If you have something in mind that you love and has nothing to do with any of my prompts, please feel absolutely free to write that. If you have fun writing it, I'll have fun reading it! ♥ Please note that me talking more about some fandoms than others doesn't mean I WANT those fandoms more, it just means I had more to say about them (and have requested them enough to steal prompts from previous letters).

Kate and Paul fill my favorite iddy niche of slightly-codependent twins with fundamental philosophical differences who are nonetheless fiercely protective of each other. I would love to see their relationship either as gen or as dirtybadwrong incest, and I especially would love to see Paul meet the Immortal and/or his niece and nephew, and become part of his sister's married life. Canon-divergence AUs would also be nifty: what if Kate and Paul had stayed together as a heroic duo, or both become villains together, instead of splitting up? Or what if they were somehow part of that dark alternate timeline where the Immortal, broken after outliving everyone he ever loved, was the power-mad tyrant of the world and everything was terrible? Honestly, there's not enough fic focusing on these characters and I would love to read some!

Prompts/ideas:

I love the mutual protectiveness between the Cha twins and I need them interacting more, stat. Has Paul even met his niece and nephew in canon? Just all the fluffy family feels as the toddlers grow up; I especially like the idea of Kate needing Paul's help if they develop the same multiplying powerset (you can never have too many babysitters when there are superpowered kids around!), and maybe Paul being kind of a bad influence on them what with him being a supervillain's henchman and all. Or show me what Mary and Abraham are like as older kids with their own personalities (maybe one of them shows inclinations of following Uncle Paul into villainry and that keeps Kate up at night worrying??) or even as young adults joining their first superteams, or not. Basically anything exploring this family would be great.

If, like me, you're into twincest, I would adore a fucked-up, codependent Kate/Paul and exploring that any way you want, through canon events or any kind of AU. I'd love to read what would have happened if Paul had joined the Teen Team with his sister way back when and they were an incesty but heroic unstoppable force together. Or the other way around -- Kate decides to abandon heroics and go to the dark side with Paul, and together they depose Mister Liu and become the scary, incesty leaders of the Order? I am so into darkfic for this fandom, unf.

I love Kate's relationship with the Immortal, and I also would love to see Paul added to the mix in any way that might happen, either before or after the kids are around; anything from a one-night stand fueled by curiosity/jealousy/alcohol to a long-term three-way relationship would be lovely. This could be all three of them mutually-enthusiastically together or it could involve cheating (much as I love Kate and Immortal together, faithfulness has historically not been their strong point), or either Kate or Immortal has a side relationship with her brother with the other's knowledge and permission, really, anything goes. Maybe Paul has to stay with them for a while, hiding out after a mission goes wrong, and he and the Immortal butt heads and sparks fly. Or maybe amnesia or identity mixups are involved ('identical fraternal twins', sure, why not!).

Okay, hear me out: remember that dark future timeline when the Immortal, broken after outliving everyone he ever loved, was the power-mad tyrant of the world and everything was terrible? It would be so, so cool to have Kate and Paul and possibly the kids somehow brought into that future, whether through time-travel from their own time or an alternate reality where they are originally from that time (handwave, handwave) and are royalty alongside him? Maybe the twins are both concubines in the Immortal's futuristic-tyrant harem (any harem AUs are A+++) and raising Kate's kids and just trying to survive in that dark and dangerous world? A twisted dubcon/noncon-ish threesome in this kind of setting would be my jam.

Total AUs would also be total-ly cool! Some of my faves: University AU where Kate and Paul are students and they're both definitely hot for Professor Immortal(maybe he's called Abraham here, idk, pick your favorite Immortal name). Heist AU where Kate and Paul are professional thieves and Immortal is their patron, their mark, or the agent hot on their tail. Any Historical Period AU: Immortal has canonically had many identities throughout his long life, so what if Kate and Paul were around for any of those periods? I think AUs are a lot of fun and I'm always happy to read a new interpretation, so feel free to go nuts!

Going back to some of my favorite old-school X-Men/Alpha Flight pairings here: I honestly enjoyed the period of time when JP was the only gay male X-character and was going around having unrequited crushes on his teammates and expressing it in awkward and belligerent ways. I'd love to see him actually get together with Walter during the Alpha Flight days or Bobby during X-Men days, or maybe reuniting with either of them in more modern times when they're older and theoretically more mature? Anything would be great!

Prompts/ideas:

Jean-Paul has been my favorite Canadian for like... a long time. I love his arrogance, his caustic attitude, his impatience with a world that’s always too slow for him, and most of all, his loyalty and heroism despite his general cynicism. I’d love to see him in any aspect of his varied and interesting life: pickpocket, political activist/terrorist, circus acrobat (!), Olympic athlete, disgraced former athlete, adoptive father, first openly gay superhero in-universe, businessman, author. A canon-divergence AU where he met Bobby or Walt earlier in his life would be neat! Or something that slots in nicely with the many times he flirted with Bobby while on the X-Men, or his antagonistic relationship with Walt (/jealousy over Walt's relationship with Aurora and vice versa), would be very cool. OR maybe something set now-ish or in the future where they reconnect and actually understand what it is they want from each other. I'm not up to date on anything X-Men so I probably won't understand any current-day references, but I'm happy to read it anyway if you're into that! All of it would be so great, seriously.

If you want to write something set in current-ish comic time, what you want to do with his canonical marriage is up to you! I like Kyle, but I don't have any great attachment to him, so I'm good with pretending JP never met Kyle, that they broke up and he's never mentioned again, that their marriage is in trouble and he's cheating with a teammate, that they have an open marriage and Kyle is onboard with everything. Or, heck, make it a 3some if you so desire. Anything is cool by me!

For a canon-divergent AU, one thing I always find interesting about JP is that he originally maintained his identity as Northstar as separate from his career as a famous Olympic skier. What if the incident with Purple Girl at that one competition back in the day never happened or happened differently, he wasn't banned from the sport for being a mutant, and he'd been able to keep his secret identity secret? Maybe his continual quitting of Alpha Flight would've stuck one of those times. Maybe he would've had one of those fun identity-porn fake-love-triangle romances with Bobby or Walt where they knew him as both JP and as Northstar and he struggled with keeping his secret as romance blossomed for one identity! (I really love this trope, okay.)

So in the arc that led to JP originally coming out as gay, he had adopted an abandoned baby girl who was dying of AIDS. I would so love to read a story where Joanne Beaubier survives (maybe she had a different disease that was more treatable at the time, maybe she was cured through magic or mutant science) and JP raises her as a single dad while also being a superhero/businessman/author/teacher/everything. I would particularly love a story about him having mixed feelings about Jeanne-Marie's influence over his daughter. Or how a romance with Bobby or Walt is complicated or changed by having to make sure they would be good stepdads for his kid!

Logan (Movie 2017)
Rictor & Transigen Kids

Genres: Action/Adventure, AU - Canon Divergence, Canon-Style Plot, Character Development, Hurt/Comfort, Interpersonal Drama, Slice of Life, Worldbuilding

I love this movie so much, and I love Rictor most of all. I'd love to read anything exploring Rictor's past at Transigen and how he became the de facto leader of the kids, or their future after they cross the border and what's waiting for them there. Worldbuilding, whether based on any part of the comics or not, and exploration of the kids' characters is very much appreciated.

Prompts/ideas:

I loooved this movie, and I loved these kids! They're all so brave and fierce and damaged and wonderful. Rictor (who is my comics fave in a totally different context, so it was both amazing and puzzling to find him in this film) being the leader/protector of the younger kids is my fave; I will always read more fic exploring their time at Transigen, what it was like for all of them and how he was molded into the guy he is by the time of the movie. You could definitely go very dark here and I'd eat it up, with experiments and threats and the things Transigen made the kids do with their powers, or focus on the lighter side with protective family feels and building their own culture and norms inside the facility.

For a canon-divergent take, what would've happened if the kids got caught by the Reavers and hauled back to Transigen? I love them, so I want to see them hurting? It's sad but it's true. If Logan hadn't shown up at the end, I think the poor kids would've been sedated and in trucks on the way back to Mexico in five minutes flat. All the angst about freedom and escape attempts as they are molded into living weapons, please. Or maybe something set years later when they finally manage to escape or burn Transigen down around them, this time as deeply traumatized and pissed-off adults rather than scared, defiant kids. Anything would be cool!

On the exact opposite side of the spectrum, how about a post-canon where they do escape and they make it across the border? I'm a huge fan of Alpha Flight, the Canadian superteam, and I have this secret desire for the woman whose voice is briefly heard on the radio at the watchtower to be Heather Hudson (Vindicator), and that mutants are secretly alive and well and living in Canada and have shelter for them. Maybe some of the old X-Men faked their own deaths and are waiting across the border to greet the kids? It would be so nice to see Rictor and the other kids get to actually be kids for a while.

Crossover Fandom
Rictor (Logan 2017)/Shatterstar (Marvel Comics)

Genres: Action/Adventure, AU - Canon Divergence, Character Development, Getting Together, Hurt/Comfort, Interpersonal Drama, Science Fiction, Smut, Worldbuilding

Rictor/Shatterstar is my Marvel OTP to rule all OTPs, and I'd love to see how it could come about in the dark, no-more-mutants future world of Logan after Rictor has led his band of ragged mutant children across the border (where I very much hope a better life is waiting for them, but if it's not, I'd love to hear about that too!). You could really go any direction with this and I'd love it: have Shatterstar as another escaped mutant or genetically-modified experiment, have comics-verse Star dimension-hop into Rictor's world by mistake, have Rictor step through a portal into a dimension where there are so many mutants. Anything would be incredible, honestly.

Prompts/ideas:

Feel free to take these guys from any point in their canons. I don't mind age gaps at all and think it would be pretty fascinating if adult Shatterstar and teenage Rictor somehow got together, or vice versa. I'm a big fan of fresh-from-the-Mojoverse young Star from X-Force days or older and more clued-in Star from X-Factor Investigations days or anything from more recent comics; Rictor could be his teenage self from the movie, or any time post-canon when he's grown up a little, either is cool!

What would Shatterstar be like if he had been in the Logan movie? Maybe he's another mutant from one of Transigen's even more secretive programs; maybe he's a reject from the X program who was supposed to be destroyed when he came out defective in some way, but was saved and raised underground. Maybe he's an alien who fell to earth one day! Maybe he was found by another organization (is Cable around, or could Mojo work into this world somehow?) and trained as a killer/gladiator/etc. until he escapes or is rescued.

Alternately, for a portal-type crossover, if you want to do something with dimensional travel (these guys are good at it!) it would be really fascinating to see Shatterstar come to this Rictor's world on purpose, either to rescue another version of his BFF, or because he thought it was his Rictor somehow stranded in a bad dimension, and it turns out to be a different version. They could totally go and get his Rictor too, because all Rictors deserve rescues.

The Heist: Monaco (Visual Novel)

Genres: Action/Adventure, AU - Canon Divergence, Canon-Style Plot, Character Development, Established Relationship, Getting Together, Hurt/Comfort, Interpersonal Drama, Smut, Worldbuilding

MC/Rye, MC & Rye: I adore these two conmen who have been grifting together since they were kids, always have each other's backs, and have a long history that's desperately in need of exploring through fic! I am suuuper into the loyalty and trust between these two bros, and I love them equally as best friends or as lovers.

Jones/Anton: I shipped these two from the moment they met; they're so impressed by each other's skills and have a genuinely cute friendship despite being total opposites. At one point Jones promised to always protect Anton and my heart couldn't take it, so currently I'm just smashing them together and shouting "now kiss!" (Also, that size difference. I'm just saying.)

Prompts/ideas:

I use the default name/alias Lee for the male main character, but feel free to switch it up if you want, it doesn't bother me! I would love to read anything about him and Rye's past together, maybe a story about a past heist they pulled (successfully or not), or letters they secretly wrote each other while they were separated at the beginning of the story, or the next job they take together and getting the crew back together or auditioning a new bunch, or maybe they decide to retire after the Monaco job and live on a beach somewhere like James Bond did! I love their long history and the bond of loyalty and trust that runs so deep, and just anything would be fantastic. I ship it and also friendship it!

For Jones/Anton, anything goes: they clicked for me from their first appearance and I'd love to know what they got up to during their downtime in that Monaco HQ! Either of them showing the other the ropes of their own specialties would be so lovely, especially Jones teaching Anton the basics of self-defense so he can protect himself out in the field. Or after the Monaco job, could they stick together, or split up and realize they miss each other like crazy and come back together in a working partnership (and a kissing partnership)? Maybe down the road a ways Anton's gained the confidence and experience to be a Mastermind himself and recruits his own crew, and he knows the one person he always wants at his back is Jones. I just love these two and want to see them get together and literally anything would make me so thrilled.

The Royal Romance (Visual Novel)

Genres: AU - Canon Divergence, Canon-Style Plot, Character Development, Established Relationship, Fantasy, Getting Together, Hurt/Comfort, Interpersonal Drama, Smut, Worldbuilding

Liam/Maxwell: ...so, why couldn't Maxwell be the suitor sponsored by House Beaumont? The rest is left as an exercise for the reader. (:P) Or any other way they could get together would also be great!

Liam/Maxwell/Drake: See above, and also I am stupidly into the idea of Liam/Drake secretly being an established couple who don't plan on letting Liam's eventual mandatory marriage to a noblewoman (...or nobleman) split them up. Maxwell is so optimistic and bright and kinda flaily! Drake is kind of an asshole on the outside, but he has that shiny heart of gold! They balance each other out really well and they're both so good for Liam.

Prompts/ideas:

I've played the Royal Romance and its sequels as well as the Royal Masquerade prequel (which I LOVED, so if you want to use any of the family history/worldbuilding from that, feel free!), so you could sure pick any setting and timeline or just stick to the first book. I'm mostly here for the tropey goodness and the adorable relationships between these guys; I don't need anything to be very canon, so please don't stress about any details! Just give me these guys getting together somehow and I'll be a happy camper.
